The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 board examination results on 29 May. The CBSE Class 10 examination was conducted between 5 March and 4 April.
This year, a total of 28.24 lakh students registered to appear for the CBSE board exams. Out of these, 16.38 lakh students (16,38,428) appeared for the Class 10 board examination, which was conducted at 4,453 centres. A total of 131,493 students crossed the 90% mark, while 27,476 scored more than 95% out of more than 16 lakh who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 exams this year.

- Anushka Pandey (Suncity, Gurgaon) - 489 Marks
- Sanya Gandhi (Uttam School, Gzb) - 489 Marks
- Somya Deep Pradhan (JNV Dhanpur, Orissa) - 484 Marks
Pass Percentage of CBSE Class 10 Board Exams:
The overall pass percentage for CBSE class 10 board exams stands at 86.70%. The pass percentage of CBSE Class 10 Boards for girls is 88.67% and that for boys is 85.32%. Top three regions by pass percentage are:
- Thiruvanathapuram - 99.60%
- Chennai - 97.37%
- Ajmer - 91.86%
