CBSE Class 10 & 12: Here’s How and When to Apply For Re-evaluation

The three-step re-evaluation process starts on Friday.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 31 May, Thursday released the process and dates of filing the revaluation of marks for students who appeared for Class 12th and Class 10th board exams.

As per the statement, the three-step re-evaluation process starts on Friday and is to be done online.

Step 1: Verification of Marks

Students who wish to file for a verification of their CBSE Boards results can apply on cbse.nic.in between 1-5 June.

The last date to pay fees of Rs 500 per subject for verification of marks for CBSE X and XII is 7 June.

Step 2: Obtaining Photocopy of Evaluated Answer Sheets

The online application for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer sheets can be filed between 15-16 June.

18 June is the last date for payment of processing charged (Rs 700 per answer sheet) for obtaining the photocopy.

Step 3: Re-Evaluation

After the photocopy, the students, if not convinced, can still request for revaluation of answer sheet between 21-22 June.

In this case, students are required to fill the online application form and request for re-valuation of specific questions. Fees of per question Rs. 100 is applicable.
