Huge Landslide on Chandigarh-Shimla Highway, Cars Fall Off Cliff

Several cars were buried in the rubble following a massive landslide on the Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway near Dhalli tunnel on Friday. Many others fell off the cliff. No casualties have been reported so far.

The landslide caused a huge jam on the highway, with people being stuck on an otherwise busy route for hours.

Minutes before the landslide, boulders had started falling off the cliff, and some people were quick enough to withdraw from the spot.

People who were stuck in the houses below have been rescued. No casualties have been reported.
