Jet Airways Dy CEO, CFO Amit Agarwal Resigns With Immediate Effect

The airline seized operations temporarily around mid- April due to acute liquidity crisis.

Jet Airways Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer Amit Agrawal has resigned due to personal reasons with immediate effect, the grounded airlines said on Tuesday, 14 May.

However, Agrawal’s resignation is effective from 13 May.

“We wish to inform that Amit Agarwal, the deputy chief executive officer and CFO of the company, has resigned from service due to personal reasons, with effect from May 13.”
PTI quoted Jet Airways as saying in a regulatory filing.

Most of the airline’s board members have also quit in the last one month. Earlier on 23 April, Director Gaurang Shetty had resigned from the board citing “personal reasons.”
