There is no such thing as a quiet retirement for Ratan Tata, who is Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons. Over the past few years, Tata has backed a number of start-ups. Some of the investments he has made are  in sectors like online retail, payment gateways, wind energy, online jewellery retailer, healthcare, women’s wear, etc show the wide array of his interests.

His latest investment is in Holachef, an online market place for chefs.
