  • The cabinet on Friday approved the National Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Policy designed to safeguard trademark identities, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in New Delhi.

  • The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion has prepared the draft policy in this regard. The policy has seven objectives including public awareness, administration, enforcement and adjudication.

  • By 2017, it will take only one month to register a trademark.
