Dear Soldier,

You are away from your families, providing us security, may it be in Kashmir or anywhere else. You are alert and that is why we are secure. Our families are safe because you have left yours and are guarding the nation 24 hours of the day. This kind of service commands heartfelt gratitude.

Soldiers don’t worry about their lives, even after knowing there could be an attack any time. The Pulwama attack, that claimed the lives of many soldiers, is an example.

We are safe because they sacrificed their lives.
