Lok Sabha Election 2019 for the second phase is underway. Eleven states and a UT is polling today, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, parts of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

“When youngsters suffer from unemployment, farmers die because there is not enough financial backing, safety for women is an issue, so for me, this election is important as I am voting to show my protest against all that!”

“When one votes, one has to weigh who has done what for the people. A person is a manifestation of his party ideals, he cannot be seen separately. So keeping in mind what farmers, students, women and other people have suffered, I have voted,” said Shreya, a resident of Bengaluru.

“Today, my vote matters to ensure that people come first and that they should not be taken granted,” said Ashutosh, a voter from Nanded, Maharashtra.
