Ahead of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev on 12 November, the Kartapur corridor will be operationalised on 9 November by the Pakistan government for pilgrims to visit.

My wife and I were lucky enough to have gotten an exclusive look inside the Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara and witness the last-minute work underway at Darbar Sahib.

The local and central governments have been committed to finishing the work before the inauguration, and the management in-charge of the maintenance of Darbar Sahib has done a wonderful job in keeping the premises spotless and clean.

Here are some photos that capture the beauty of the gurdwara complex.
