We Not Only Respect Soldiers but Also Salute Fauji Families

India has been really lucky to have officers like Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri, Captain Saurabh Kalia, Captain Vikram Batra, Akshay Girish to name a few.

Dear soldier,

I thank you for your service. In India, the authorities don’t give enough credit to our defence personnel for all the hard work they do. But as citizens of this country, we respect, adore and admire your commitment towards the nation.

Please don’t ever let such thoughts crawl into your mind that citizens don't care for the sacrifices you make. We do care. We feel sad when we hear some unfortunate news. We are proud that we are protected by you brave men and women.

India has been really lucky to have officers like Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri, Captain Saurabh Kalia, Captain Vikram Batra and Major Akshay Girish to name a few. There are many, many more such heroes who gave everything they had to protect this magnificent country.

We not only respect you but also salute your families. Families who bear your absence for months and months, they too are the heroes of India.

To end it, we Indians are proud of you and feel extremely lucky to be protected by you.
