Dear soldier,

I extend warm greetings to all of you. Thank you for guarding our country from various forces in adverse climate and in unreachable locations. Your vigilance is protecting all of us and keeping us safe.

I love and respect you, my soldiers. I have been associated with the Army and I often attend regular Army camp in NCC – rigorous physical training, drills, guns, BMG, armoured cars, Vijayanta tanks, Shaktiman trucks and cultural programmes.

I strongly feel, every Indian youth must serve in the Army for at least three years to understand life of the soldier and importance of defending the country.

Jai Hind.
