Twenty-one-year-old Faiza Ahmad is a student of engineering from Kolkata. But that’s not all she is. She’s also a social activist, an anchor and an advocate for secularism.

Ahmad is also the Vice-President of the Youth Team at an NGO for orphaned children, called ‘Umeed’.

A first-time voter, she dreams of a government that will bring an end to communalism. Instead, she wants it to focus on the most important aspects of the economy – education for every child and employment for the youth.

Do you know someone like Faiza? Is she young, driven and passionate about a cause? Will she be voting for the first time in the upcoming election? Then nominate her for The Quint’s ‘Me, The Change’ campaign!
