Do you know a young woman who will vote for the first time in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections? Is she between the 18-24 age group? Has she done something out of the ordinary? Then tell us about her! As part of The Quint’s ‘Me, The Change’ campaign, we are looking for young women achievers.

At 19, Garvita Gulhati won the title of ‘Global Changemaker’, which is awarded by a youth programme of the same name in Zurich, Switzerland. She is also the only Indian among 60 youngsters from across the globe to win this title from nearly 44,000 applications received in 2018.

Garvita, who hails from Bengaluru, is passionate about water conservation and has co-founded an organisation called ‘Why Waste’. Together with her co-founder, the young changemaker is trying to raise awareness about using water efficiently.

Impressed by Garvita’s drive and her story? Know someone who is daring enough to try and bring about a change? Then nominate her for ‘Me, The Change’.
