If you thought coffee could make you happy in only one way, you’re probably in for a surprise. This liquid energy has uses that so many of us would probably not even think of, and we definitely are not brewing this up!

So behold! It is time to introduce you to the unexplored.

1. Get the Coffee Glow

If you love the coffee jolt to wake up in the morning, try the coffee exfoliation and watch your skin come back to life. Mix some baby oil/ vitamin E oil with some coffee grounds and say bye bye to expensive face scrubs.

2. The Circle of Coffee

Coffee works in a full circle. It helps you fight sleep, which in turn leads to under eye dark circles. BUT, the very same coffee also helps you to get rid of those dark circles. Apply the leftover grounds of the coffee that you drank to stay up, under your eyes to get rid of any bags or unwanted blemishes.

3. Kill the Cellulite

What is common among all these high-priced anti cellulite treatment? Ahem, it is none other than La Caféine. So this means that you can get rid of your unwanted cellulite at home. Add a dash of used coffee grounds to the target spot on your skin and rub in the mixture using circular motion. Do this before a bath for seven days and notice the difference.

4. Give Your Hair a Coffee Spa

Looking for something that can metamorphose your dull, dry, falling hair into the advertisement sort? Well believe it or not, coffee can give you what you want in three easy steps. 1. Apply some extra strong coffee to your hair. 2. Allow it to dry for about 15 minutes. 3. Wash it off. Do this four times a month and say hello to shiny, healthy hair.

Remember though, that coffee acts as a natural dye. It may leave behind a temporary mocha tint to your hair.

5. Protect Your Pets From Fleas

Coffee can work wonders to repel fleas on your pet(s). Apply some used coffee grounds on the little one’s skin after you’re done giving it a bath. The paste will help get rid of fleas as well as the wet-pet smell naturally.

6. Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Let’s admit it, we all love the smell of coffee and even if we don’t, we definitely prefer it to the smell of an old car, or last night’s garbage in the kitchen. Do yourself a pleasant favour, stuff some coffee beans in a sock and hide it in the corners of your house and let the aroma spread.

And that’s not it! Popping one roasted coffee bean in the morning or before stepping out of the house can prevent bad breath. This natural mouth freshener works better than any mint you can find in the market.

7. Give Your Furniture a Caffeine Fix

Take a wee bit of your morning joe, dampen it with some warm water. Now take a piece of soft cloth and rub this mixture to get rid of all the scratches on your wooden furniture. Unbelievable? Try it to see the furniture in your house transform.

8. Put Your Coffee on Steak

Surprise your tastebuds by rubbing some coffee beans to your meat and giving it a smokey twist. A pinch of the mocha in your regular recipe can become the secret ingredient of the next favourite dish in your house. *wink*

9. Unleash the Artist Within

Unleash the Michelangelo within you, pick up a paint brush and and some thickly  brewed coffee and voila! You are now ready to paint your mocha masterpiece.

10. Give Your Garden Some Caffeine Infusion

Coffee grounds can play the nitrogen source for your composting efforts. Just throw some used mocha grounds to create cheap, nutrient-rich fertiliser.

Did you know those worms you’d have your kitchen waste devour love coffee as much as you do? Feed ‘em some ‘worm dirt’ regularly and watch the vermicompost flourish your garden.
