On-screen mark Zuckerberg Jesse Eisenberg’s birthday is on 5 October! Born and raised in New York City, he began his acting career at an early age. He made his TV debut with the comedy-drama series Get Real (1999-2000). Eisenberg’s first lead role was in the 2002 film Roger Dodger.
His 2010 rendition of Zuckerberg in The Social Network earned him nominations for BAFTA, Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Actor.
The 90s knew only one love story — that of Jack and Rose, immortalised by Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet. She studied drama and began her career in TV in 1991. Winslet’s debut in the world of cinema was in the 1994 Heavenly Creatures but Titanic (1997) catapulted her into global stardom.
Winslet was the youngest person to be nominated for an Academy Award six times.
Raymond Albert Kroc, commonly known as ‘Ray Kroc’, was an American businessman who turned two brothers' innovative fast food eatery, McDonald's, into the biggest restaurant business in the world. He joined McDonald's in 1954 and converted it into first a nationwide and then a global leading fast food chain.
Kroc was included in Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century, and earned a fortune during his lifetime. He owned the San Diego Padres baseball team from 1974 until his death.
Bernard Jeffrey "Bernie" McCullough, better known by his stage name Bernie Mac, was an American comedian, actor, and voice artist. The guy from the south side, Mac was born and raised in Chicago. He gained popularity as a stand-up comedian and joined Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer and DL Hughley in The Original Kinds of Comedy.
Mac has done several small film roles and the most notable has been his portrayal of Frank Catton in Ocean’s Eleven. His The Bernie Mac Show which ran from 2001 to 2006 got him two Emmy nominations for outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
