Humans of #AIFW: Personal Style, Fashion Freedom and Inspiration
At the Amazon India Fashion week, we met people who stepped out wearing something very personal.
The most exciting moment at a fashion week belongs to the few minutes before a show. This is the time when the smell of freshly blow-dried hair and the din of backstage nervousness hovers over a bevy of men and women waiting at the edge of their seats.
Soon enough models begin to click their heels on a stiff ramp, flashing outfits worth many a fortune. But on display is much more than just clothes — as iconic designer Donatella Versace puts it, “Fashion is about dreaming and making other people dream.”
At the recently concluded Amazon India Fashion Week, the excitement extended way beyond the ramp. People from all walks of the fashion world rubbed shoulders with outsiders, mingling over music, drinks, and (most importantly) gossip!
The Quint caught up with some people who mixed their own sense of style with the trends this season, and stepped out wearing something very personal.
