From contemporary designers, to celebrities - all mourned the death of the 85-year-old Creative Director of Chanel, who worked for over 36 years in the brand, to make it a powerhouse in the industry today.
Victoria Beckham, Donatella Versace, Gigi Hadid, Antonio Banderas - all posted their condolences for the fashion world “losing its most influential designer”.
The Beckhams - David and Victoria Beckham - led the outpour of messages grieving Lagerfeld’s death.
Top models, sisters Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid - who had both worked with Lagerfeld extensively - said that there would never be “another Karl Lagerfeld”.
