Shammi Kapoor

Hailed as one of the most entertaining actors in Hindi cinema, Shammi Kapoor starred in leading roles in 1950s, 60s and 70s.

Making his debut with the film ‘Jeevan Jyoti’ in 1953, Kapoor went on to give several hits like ‘Tumsa Nahin Dekha’, ‘Dil Deke Dekho’, ‘Singapore’, ‘Junglee’, and ‘An Evening in Paris’.

Called the Elvis Presley of India, Kapoor was famous for choreographing his own steps in his songs.

Farooq Abdullah

A politician from Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah has served as the Chief Minister of the state many times since 1982. He is also the chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference party.

In 2002, he was elected as a member of the Rajya Sabha. From 2009 to 2014, he served as the Union minister for New and Renewable Energy.

His son Omar Abdullah also went on to become the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir in 2009.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian came in the limelight in early 2000s as a friend and stylist of socialite Paris Hilton.

She and her family are famous for the reality show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’. Her personal life is often subject to widespread media attention.

In recent years, Kardashian’s influence over social media has increased manifold. She has tens of millions of followers on both Twitter and Instagram.

Kardashian is married to rapper Kanye West.

Carrie Fisher

Famous for playing the role of Princess Leia in the ‘Star Wars’ film series, Carrie Fisher was an American actor and writer.

She featured in many movies like ‘When Harry Met Sally,’ ‘Soapdish’ and ‘The Women’. She also acted in TV series like ‘30 Rock’ and ‘Catastrophe’.

Fisher was posthumously made a Disney Legend in 2017.

Benjamin Netanyahu

Benjamin ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu is the current Prime Minister of Israel.

He has been elected as the prime minister of the country four times, and is the only individual in the history of Israel to be elected as the prime minister three times in a row.

He is also a member of the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, and the chairman of the Likud party.
