Arun Shourie’s 27th book, Two Saints, takes off from a query that arose when he published his last book – that dealt with the inadequate explanation for suffering in religious texts.

Shourie told The Quint that he examined the life and experiences of Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Ramana Maharshi so as to understand near-death, and out of body experiences.
