IPL 2022: Rain Delays in Lucknow vs Bangalore Knock-Out Game; Toss at 7:55pm

Kolkata rains have continued on from yesterday and while it didn't interrupt the first Qualifier between Gujarat and Rajasthan, the start of the Eliminator between Lucknow and Bangalore has been delayed due to rain.
The teams were on the field and warming up a little while back but light showers have forced the covers to be brought on.
The toss will be at 755pm and play will begin at 810pm IST, assuming there is no more rain in Kolkata. No overs have been lost yet.
How Can Rain Affect The Match?
If rain does not allow for any play during this Eliminator, Lucknow Super Giants will qualify for Qualifier 2 on the basis of having finished ahead of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL standings, after the league stage.
A full 20 overs-a-side match can be played even if rain continues till 9:40pm. After that, overs will start getting cut from the game.
A 5 over a side match can start as late as 11:56pm.
The final option would be to decide the outcome of the game through a Super Over, which has to start before 12:50am tonight.
Lucknow Super Giants, who are playing their first IPL season, finished third after the league stage of IPL 2022, with nine wins. On the other hand, RCB, with 16 points, bagged the fourth spot and qualified for the playoffs after Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals in their last league game.
The winner of the Eliminator will meet Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 on Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.
