Every award show these days are riding high on political statements. At the 59th Grammy Awards, American singer-songwriter Joy Villa wore a very ‘patriotic’ dress. The singer boasts of a varied heritage and comes from a lineage that is an amalgamation of various cultures. Her dress, on the other hand, was a tribute to the Star Spangled Banner - the American Flag - mentioning Donald Trumps presidential slogan, “Make America Great Again”. The train of her dress also had ‘Trump’ written in bling.

Was her dress really a tribute to Trump or a sarcastic message?

We wonder!
