Acid attack survivor Laxmi is now the face of a fashion brand.

At the age of 15 years, a 32-year-old man came up to Laxmi on the street and threw acid on her face for rejecting his offer of marriage.

Rather than let it defeat her, Laxmi became an activist inspiring other women who underwent a similar ordeal.

Fashion Brand Viva N Diva, has started a campaign ‘Face of Courage’ with a Laxmi as their spokesperson making her the first-ever acid attack victim to serve as an ambassador of a fashion brand.
