How do Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon stay in shape and continue to look as stunning as always?

Apart from a rigorous workout regime, they credit their fitness to intermittent fasting. Both the actors fast for 16 hours a day, leaving only a window of 8 hours to eat. While the Friends star skips breakfast, Witherspoon has green juice and coffee in the morning.

Aniston said that she noticed a ‘big difference’ after following the 16:8 diet approach.

On other days, she breaks her fast with celery juice and follows that with meditation and exercise. Workouts for a minimum of five days a week are a must in their routines, regardless of how busy their days are.

While Aniston’s mornings start at 9, the Legally Blonde star wakes up at 5.30 am for her seven-year-old son. She then goes for her workout at 7.30, and tries sticking to it for six days a week.

The actors will be seen together in a new TV drama ‘The Morning Show’.

Should You Take up Intermittent Fasting Too?

Intermittent fasting is gaining popularity with celebrities and the scientific community.

Intermittent fasting has many health benefits associated with it. In an earlier article, FIT had mentioned it could help with treating ailments, hair loss, weight loss, aging, hormonal imbalances, boosting immunity and detoxification.

However, some caution is advised to people diagnosed with sugar or digestive issues. It may have to be customized depending on body weight, lifestyle and emotional health.

In the end, what matters is eating clean and healthy.
