Milind Soman will be 50 this year. Yes! That’s a little hard to believe. The former model has also managed to surprise us by completing the Ironman triathlon title held in Zurich in Switzerland on July 19, which is widely regarded as the world’s toughest race.

Over 2,000 people participated in the race this year which included seven Indians. Yes! Milind Soman is our very own Ironman now. Take a look what he posted on his Facebook page:

And now here’s why it’s the world’s toughest race. The triathlon, organised by the World Triathalon Corporation, includes a 3.8-km swim, 180.2-km cycle ride and 42.2-km run which has to be completed in 16 hours by participants for an Ironman title.

Milind, who participated in the race for the first time, completed the triathlon 15 hours and 19 minutes. And the guy who finished first, did it in 8 hours and 21 minutes - phew!
