It was nothing short of a Grey’s Anatomy-like scene when doctor Anchita Pandoh took charge of a mid-air medical emergency on flight MH130 of Malaysia Airlines which was en route to Kuala Lampur from Auckland.

Anchita and her husband Saurabh Kumar were travelling to Kuala Lumpur when they saw an on flight crew rushing to the front with an oxygen cylinder. The Indian couple soon figured out the reason behind the panic around them. An air hostess had lost consciousness, and the pilot had paged for any doctors on board. Depending on the situation, they might have had to consider emergency landing. Being a medical practitioner, Anchita stepped forward to help.

Check out how her proud husband gave a moving account of Anchita’s masterful handling of the situation and nursing the air hostess to consciousness.

The incident has gone viral since her husband shared it on Facebook, with everyone lauding Anchita for her timely intervention. Her dutiful act as a doctor has not only done her family proud, but the whole nation as well.
