Have you been struggling with any form of physical pain lately? Maybe a limb, a joint, a muscle?

Pain is your body’s way of catching your attention – so pay attention. Usually the cause is simple and can be easily remedied, provided you know what it is. But sometimes the reasons are hidden, so you cannot be sure about what caused it.

We at FIT launched a campaign #LetsTalkPain inviting our readers to share their stories of pain, their battle to be taken seriously and treatments that got them relief.

We thank all our readers who wrote to us. Keep your stories coming.

Read how Sonika Goel dealt with her migraine.

I have had chronic migraine and sinus pains for last 4-5 years.

Here are the things that helped me bring down the intensity of my migraines:

  • Sleeping on time.
  • Avoiding hot and humid climates or staying in a room with an air conditioner when the temperature outside was unbearable.
  • Drinking a lot of water.
  • Avoiding consumption of red meat and alcohol completely.
  • Consuming more of watermelons, melons, coconut water and cucumbers.
  • Avoiding all junk and fried food.

Mostly eating right and on time helped me a lot.
