But not this time.
In Ridley Scott’s The Martian, Matt Damon is a NASA botanist on a mission to Mars. Stranded alone due to a freak incident, he has to “science the s***t out of” the inhospitable red planet to survive.
What follows in this three minute trailer is a glimpse of how Damon survives the calamity and makes his way back home.
The Martian is directed by Ridley Scott and boasts a strong cast — Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Donald Glover.
