When Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated on 31 October 1984 by her own bodyguards who happened to be Sikh, there ensued one of the bloodiest chapters in India history. And for the first time, a Bollywood film has been made on the events that unfolded after that night. Starring Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan and directed by National Award winner Shivaji Lotan Patil, 31st October promises a hard-hitting story.
