We had reported earlier that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had cut swear words and visuals of girls in revealing outfits from Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Now, a list of cuts recommended and carried out in the film by the CBFC has been leaked online.

As per the list, the CBFC wanted the following cuts to give the film a ‘UA’ certificate:

  1. Added anti-smoking disclaimer to the beginning, middle and smoking scrol wherever smoking appears on the screen.
  2. Deleted the words “Ass hole, Son of a Bitch, balls, baller and fucking” wherever it appears
  3. Deleted the visuals of girls lying on the bed
  4. Deleted visuals of girl pouring liquor

What’s clear is that no one in the CBFC knows what ‘baller’ means. Also, since when has visuals of ‘girls lying on bed’ and ‘girl pouring liquor’ become a problem?
