Veteran Actor Pankaj Kapur Says He’s In Awe of Shahid
Pankaj Kapur is proud of his son Shahid Kapoor for making a mark in the film industry, without his father’s help.
Pankaj Kapur, the three time National Award winning veteran actor said in a recent interview that he was very proud of his son Shahid Kapoor, for having made a mark for himself in the film industry, without seeking his father’s help.
He (Shahid) has done it, achieved all on his own. I had told him if you need any support, we are there with you as parents. I think the younger generation is much smarter than us. I believe your children should work on their own and make a name for themselves. By doing this they become confident. My parents did this with me and I tried to do the same with my children. I think the biggest example of this is my son Shahid, who did everything on his own without my help.

We will be seeing the proud father’s daughter and Shahid’s sister Sanah making her debut with the Alia-Shahid starrer Shaandaar this week. All this humbling praise must’ve surely served as the pat on the pack that Shahid needs, just before the release of his upcoming Vikas Bahl film.
