Kapil Sharma has made an assured comeback on TV if stats are anything to go by. The comedian’s The Kapil Sharma Show has found its way in the list of top five shows of the first week of 2019, according to the latest Broadcast and Research Council (BARC) report.
The comedy show, which premiered on 29 December, is preceded by Kumkum Bhagya, Star Screen Awards, Super Dancer and Kundali Bhagya.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 12 failed to make the list even as it wound down to the grand finale, while Naagin 3 on the 11th position has slipped out of the top 10.
The Kapil Sharma Show returned on television after a hiatus of a year following a very public spat with co-star Sunil Grover.
