Amitabh Bachchan is all set to return to the small screen with the 10th Season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Yes, the very popular game show is slated to start from August 2018. Kaun Banega Crorepati season 10 is reportedly going to be a 30-episode show.

This will be Sr Bachchan’s second outing of 2018 after a stellar and much appreciated performance in 102 Not Out.

Kaun Banega Crorepati launched 18 years ago in 2000 and immediately stuck a chord with audiences. Barring the third season of the show in 2003, Amitabh Bachchan has been anchoring the show since which has cemented its position in the heart of the audiences. The last season of the show, despite making a comeback after a hiatus of 3 years, consistently topped the BARC ratings with the top winner raking 1 crore rupees.

The highest prize money ever won in Kaun Banega Crorepati so far is Rs 7 crore.

The makers are gearing up to make this season bigger and better.

It is exciting to bring in the 10th edition of India’s favourite game show with its iconic host – Amitabh Bachchan. Last year the registration window was for seven days and the total registration was 19.8 million. We are sure with a 14-day window and last year’s stupendous success, we will be able to create new benchmark in registration numbers.

Such is the success and legacy of Kaun Banega Crorepati that the show has already been made in seven other languages with different hosts. Needless to say, all of them have been pretty successful.

The makers have been experimenting with the format making it more engaging for the audiences. While some features have remained consistent such as life lines and Amitabh Bachchan’s famous “Lock kar diya jaye?”, there are few others which are constantly being improvised upon.

Last season, phone-a-friend made way for video-a-friend. The contestants even had an option of getting a “jodidaar” to help answer a question they got stuck at. We are sure the show will have few other changes this time around too. Such is the nostalgia attached to Kaun Banega Crorepati that we just can’t wait to see Senior Bachchan return to our television screens.

When Do the KBC 10 Registrations Start?

The Kaun Banega Crorepati registrations will start on 6 June. This is the first step to reach the ‘hot seat’. Amitabh Bachchan will ask a question every night at 8:30 pm starting 6 June. A total of 14 questions will be asked.

The registrations will go on till 20 June.

What Is the Mode of Registration for Kaun Banega Crorepati 10?

You can answer Amitabh Bachchan’s questions via SMS, KBC Mobile App, IVRS or through Sony LIV.

How Will People Get Selected in KBC 10?

The contestants who answer maximum questions right in the registration phase are shortlisted for an audition.

The contestants will be required to take a video test in the audition to be selected for Kaun Banega Crorepati season 10.

Indians over 12 years of age without any criminal records are eligible to register for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 10.
