A biopic based on the life of Shiv Sena leader supremo, Thackeray is all set to release in 2019. Putting to rest all the speculations about who will be cast in the film, the makers have released the teaser of Thackeray starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing the role of the late Hindu Hriday Samrat leader.
Nawazuddin took to social media to release the teaser and wrote, “It’s an honour and pride to portray the real king of the country on-screen. Here comes the 'teaser' of Thackeray. Hearty thanks to Shri Uddhav Thackeray Sir, Shri Sanjay Raut Sir & Shri Amitabh Bachchan Sir and Abhijit Panse”.
Thakeray is produced by Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut, under the banner ‘Raut’ers Entertainment’. The film will be directed by MNS leader, Abhijeet Panse.
