Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das starrer 31st October finally gets a nod from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after four long months of anxious waiting.

Harry Sachdeva, the film’s producer, admitted that he had to make 9 cuts and several modifications to the film, before getting a go ahead from the CBFC’s revising committee.

It took time but we were eventually able to convince the censor board to retain the scenes which brought out the realism of the story, and which were important to the narrative. There’s a reason for bringing this subject to the screen, and justice needs to be done to the subject.
