“Frank Underwood.

2016, 2020, 2024, 20208, 2032, 2036.

One Nation. Underwood.”

Frank Underwood’s ambitions for the fifth installment of Netflix Originals ‘House of Cards’ couldn’t have been clearer in the trailer released by Netflix.

Set in the White House, the plot of the series revolves around the life and ambitions of US President Frank Underwood, the ‘most powerful man in the free world’. The newly released trailer hints at high-octane drama, with Underwood’s voice ominously looming in the background as he indulges in a monologue where he likens the people of America to little children whose “sticky fingers’ need to be held”, and “filthy mouths” needs to be wiped.

The cast has Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright in leading roles. House of Cards Season 5 is set to premiere on Netflix on 30 May.
