RIP Sridevi: Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan at Anil Kapoor’s House

While Sridevi’s body is yet to arrive in Mumbai from Dubai, friends and colleagues from the film industry continued to visit Anil Kapoor’s home to offer their prayers and condolences on the passing away of the actor.

On Monday night, Rajinikanth arrived from Chennai to meet the Kapoor family. Sridevi’s cremation was supposed to take place on Monday evening, which is probably why the Tamil actor flew in without knowing about the delay in the handing over of Sridevi’s body by the Dubai authorities to the family. Rajinikanth and Sridevi have worked together in several Tamil and Hindi films including Chaalbaaz.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan also visited the Kapoors on Monday night. Shah Rukh had worked with Sridevi in the 1996 film Army, and Khan’s upcoming Zero will reportedly be Sridevi’s last film. Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar, who makes his Hindi film debut opposite Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi was also spotted arriving at Anil Kapoor’s home.
