All of you who are excitedly looking for Coldplay’s new video to watch Sonam Kapoor need to calm down. We’re sorry to break the news that the music video features exactly 3 shots of the actress. Hymn For The Weekend, which also features vocals by Beyonce, is lusciously shot in and around Mumbai, and predictably with all the ‘exotic India’ elements thrown in. Take a look:

“We won’t shoot the cliched elephants in India”. Ok, then.

While Beyonce is seen throughout the video as a Bollywood actress in a film called Rani, Sonam (the real Bollywood heroine) makes a blink-and-miss appearance (we hope she’s ready for that).

Yay! Someone just won the “Spot-Sonam Kapoor-Contest”

We do know that the video was shot in September last year, since pictures of the band shooting for the video in Mumbai were out on Twitter.
