When you think of girl groups and girl power, the Spice Girls come to mind.

Recently, a video from the 90s surfaced, which shows them going off on advertising executives who asked them to “show a little skin” for a commercial they were shooting.

The girls were not having any of it and Mel B and Geri Halliwell were quick to call them sexist and “chauvinistic pigs”.

The commercial was for a camera and the producers asked them to show their midriffs and cleavage, saying it was “every man’s fantasy.”

They finally shot the commercial on their own terms and it was still a hit.
