We are still recovering from superstar Rajinikanth’s smash hit Kabali and Dhanush announced on Monday that he will be producing the duo’s next big film. Rajinikanth is currently busy filming for 2.o and is expected to start working on this project next year. There’s a lot of buzz around Rajinikanth and director Pa Ranjith’s next blockbuster and Dhanush’s confirmation raised our hopes for a Kabali sequel even higher.

The actor announced that he will be producing Rajinikanth’s next outing after 2.o saying,

I’m so proud and honoured to announce our production’s next film.

Dhanush, who is also Rajinikanth’s son-in-law is as excited as we are to be collaborating with the megastar, and their fans are hoping that the film would later reveal itself to be the much awaited sequel to Kabali. The Rajini mega hit took the box office by storm and became the biggest hit of the year.

Dhanush’s Wunderbar films has had a good run at the box office with previous hits like Velayilla Pattathari and Kaaka Muttai.
