Soundarya Rajinikanth Heads For Divorce After 6 Years Of Marriage
The graphic designer-turned-director had been married to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar.
Soundarya Rajinikanth, the southern megastar Rajinikanth’s younger daughter, has confirmed that she’s seeking divorce from her husband of six years, industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar.
Soundarya took to Twitter to confirm the rumours of her troubled marriage that have been making the rounds for quite some time now. The graphic designer-turned-director has requested for her family’s privacy to be respected.
The couple had tied the knot in a gala wedding in 2010 after four years of courtship. While the reason behind the rift is not known, it’s being attributed to a long standing difference of opinions. The couple has no children.
Rajinkanth stayed with the couple after returning from the US, where he had been undergoing treatment for a kidney-related ailment recently, in the hope of bringing about a reconciliation. Unfortunately, it did not work out.
