Soundarya Rajinikanth and Vishagan Vanangamudi have finally tied the knot at The Leela Palace in MRC Nagar, Chennai. The wedding and cocktail party that followed was full of colour, energy and industry’s biggies.

The Muhurtham Has Begun
The murtham (wedding) has begun and the wedding bells are ringing at The Leela Palace. Superstar Rajinikanth has reached the venue with his family.
Clad in a beautiful grand gold-and-pink zari saree, Soundarya is seen being walked into the mandapam by her sister Aishwarya Dhanush. The groom, Vishagan Vanangamudi, clad in a pattu veshti (silk dhoti) is seen beaming.
This will be followed by a reception and a cocktail party.
A post wedding function will be held at their residence on 12 February.
A Gala Long Weekend
Wedding festivities began on Friday with a sumangali pooja followed by a pre-wedding reception. A sangeet and mehendi ceremony on Saturday saw the Superstar shaking his leg to ‘Oruvan Oruvan’ from his hit movie Muthu.
For the Mappilai Azhappu on Sunday evening, Soundarya looked mesmerising in a beautiful green saree with red-and-gold zari.
