The ongoing Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut ugly, public, legal battle has turned out to be an Ekta Kapoor soap opera. Kyunki... stars bhi aam adami hote hai!

Just when the war of words and ‘leaked photographs’ went too far, Sussanne Khan came in from nowhere (er, actually Istanbul) and jumped to her ex-husband’s rescue.

The Roshan-Khan mahaghatbandan was enough for Hrithik and his PR team to get extra brownie points. But what added cherry to the cake was Adhyayan Suman’s controversial interview on Thursday. Just to refresh your memory, Adhyayan is Shekhar Suman’s son and Kangana’s ex.

It seems Duggu might have won the support of the Bollywoodwallas and the forensics teams and might win the legal battle. But Hrithik, Kangana definitely wins in life.

Zero Sense of Humour

Duggu, you made a few mistakes in this entire row. Only if you weren’t so sensitive about the ‘silly ex’ comment and had not introduced the world to your non-existent sense of humour, it would have been great. In short, you had a Johnny Bravo moment.

You might have not been the ‘silly ex’ Kangana referred to, but you definitely look like one now, having cracked a joke on the Pope, sent a legal notice to Kangana and issued statements on Twitter.

The Power of Silence

Hrithik, have you ever come across the cliche ‘silence is golden’?

You see, the power of silence is far greater than any legal notice. But you wouldn’t know that. At least, you could have taken a cue from Kangana – the actress didn’t release any statements throughout the controversy. Yes, her lawyer Advocate Rizwan Siddiquee is slightly overwhelmed with this entire controversy and is overfeeding the media with the comments.

But you sir, did the job for your PR team. We understand your name and reputation is at stake but maybe you should let the team do all the talking. After all, that’s what they get paid for. Right?

How to Keep a Secret

Here’s a thing about legal notices – you don’t reveal their contents to the media. ’Cuz you know they carry this ‘silly’ thing called a confidential clause, which must be maintained.

We must admit that both the PR teams were on a overdrive to prove each other’s innocence. But it was Hrithik’s PR machinery that took the first shot and aimed below the belt about Kangana’s mental disorder.

It’s ironic that a man who’s so sensitive about a ‘silly remark’ could turn out to be so insensitive about someone else’s private life.
