Sold My Body for Cocaine: ‘Game of Thrones’ Actress

Josephine Gillan says her life was “saved” from drugs and prostitution after she got the chance to act in the show.

Actress Josephine Gillan, who plays the prostitute Marei in popular fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, has revealed that she was a cocaine addict earlier in her life, and used to sell her body to buy it “three or four times a week.”

Gillan says her life was “saved” from drugs, prostitution and porn after she got the chance to act in the show.

Game Of Thrones’ saved my life. I couldn’t have gone on for much longer. I was addicted to cocaine and to keep the supply I needed, I had to sell my body three or four times a week.

Josephine went on to add that she earned thousands of pounds a week for sleeping with wealthy clients who’d pay her a fortune knowing they were having sex with a porn-star.

I should have been set up for life but all the money was being blown on drugs. I was a train crash.
