The intense and droopy eyed Ajay Devgn is reportedly bringing in his 46th birthday today at home with wife Kajol and kids.

Devgn’s physical transformation since his debut in Phool Aur Kaante (1991) is nothing short of remarkable. Though his signature intense look and deep permanent frown remains unchanged, his growth as an actor has been outstanding.

Devgn who began his career with regular action potboilers proved his acting chops with Mahesh Bhatt’s Zakhm (1998), Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999),The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) and Omkara (2006).

The actor is also Mr Dependable when it comes to box-office success, having been a part of Rs 100 crore plus grossers like the Golmaal series and Singham.

Fun Fact: Ajay Devgn doesn’t believe in saying ‘I love you’ and actually never proposed to his wife Kajol. They just grew on each other and decided to marry!

Devgn is also the first Bollywood star to have reportedly bought a private jet to whiz him from shoots to film promotions to family holidays.

With two National Film Awards for Best Actor and two Filmfare Awards in his kitty, Devgn has established himself as one of Bollywood’s iconic actors today.
