US President Barack Obama was moved to tears at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honours, where he heard the legendary R&B artist sing You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman.

The performance – which took place on December 6 – was aired on Tuesday night.

Kennedy Center Honours is an annual function to honour the lifetime contribution of performing artists in America.

Franklin sang this as a tribute to singer/songwriter Carole King.

A teary-eyed Obama was spotted by the cameras and first Lady Michelle Obama sat by his side, equally engrossed in the spectacular performance.

According to reports, the 73-year-old singer received a standing ovation at the event.
