The Quint’s Stutee Ghosh caught up with critically acclaimed filmmaker Shlok Sharma at the 10th edition of the NFDC Film Bazaar. His latest film Zoo starring Masaan actress Shweta Tripathi and Titli’s Shashank Arora, has been shot entirely on his iPhone. It’s going to be India’s first feature film to be shot on a phone.

The 31-year-old was inspired by American director, Sean S Baker, whose comedy-drama on a transgender sex worker, Tangerine, was shot on an iPhone 5S.

In this selfie interview, he talks about why he chose to shoot with a phone and how that made the shooting experience different. His debut film Haraamkhor starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been stalled by the Censor Board.
