As you would know by now, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s Jab Harry Met Sejal revolves around a lost engagement ring. The search for the ring is metaphorical as the film’s tagline goes - ‘What you seek is seeking you’, but more than half of the film’s plot is built around Harry and Sejal’s search for the missing ring.

As Harry and Sejal grow closer and intimate in the film, they realise that finding the ring would also mean an end to their journey together. So do they eventually find the ring? You’ll have to watch the film to figure that out, but this isn’t the first time that Shah Rukh Khan’s love was pinned on the search for a ring.

Rewind all the way back to a film in 1994, when SRK had just entered Bollywood. Kundan Shah’s delightful Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa had a brilliant moment in its climax when Sunil (Shah Rukh Khan) is heartbroken as the girl of his dreams - Anna (Suchitra Krishnamoorthi) is getting married to Chris (Deepak Tijori).

Die-hard SRK fans will surely have a throwback moment while watching the actor’s Jab Harry Met Sejal and his attempts at finding the ring in the Imtiaz Ali film.

Also, if you haven’t watched this gem of a film yet starring the early SRK - don’t waste another moment, it’s streaming on one of the popular VOD sites.
