Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan will host a dinner in honor of Apple CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday at his posh Mumbai residence, ‘Mannat’.

Celebrities including actor-producer Aamir Khan and prominent businessmen will be among the star attendees at the private gathering, reports IANS.

With Shah Rukh Khan’s penchant for bringing new-age technology into his movies like Ra.One and Fan, Tim Cook will have plenty to discuss with his host.

Cook, who is on his first official visit to India, announced that Apple will establish a Design and Development Accelerator facility in Bengaluru.

As part of his itinerary, he visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.

Tim Cooks Visits ICICI Headquarters

Cook also visited ICICI headquarters in Mumbai earlier on Wednesday. He met the bank’s managing director and CEO Chanda Kochhar and executive directors at a closed-door meeting.

According to PTI, no details regarding the meeting were revealed.

ICICI, one of India’s foremost banks in India, prides itself on a legacy of being innovative and technologically forward. Over the past few years, it has also introduced a slew of other initiatives on the digital front, including a digital wallet, like ‘Apple Pay’ by the tech giant.

During his trip, Cook also interacted with Anant Ambani of Reliance Industries and Sunil Sood of Vodafone, India.

There is also news that Cook plans to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday as part of the Delhi leg of his visit.
