It looks like a battle of sardars is brewing. Both Rajkumar Santoshi and Ajay Devgn are making films based on the Battle Of Saragarhi, fought between 21 sikhs and 14,000 Afghans in September 1897.

While Santoshi is all set to make Battle Of Saragarhi with Randeep Hooda in the lead, Devgn took to Twitter recently to launch the first look of Sons Of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragarhi.

Ajay Devgn also shared his plans about Sons Of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragarhi (SOS) in an interview with India Today.

I salute the 21 Sikhs who were the heroes of this mission and I want to show their bravery on screen. I want this project to have the scale of an international epic.... For me, SOS is not just an ambitious film, it is also a sentimental one.
