Liam Cunningham, the actor from Dublin who plays Ser Davos Seaworth in the epic fantasy series, Game of Thrones, said that the sixth season of the TV series will be a lot more violent.

We just finished filming at the end of December. I’ve seen a bit of it and it’s looking really good. It’s bigger, badder, bolder and naughtier. It’s probably more violent, so there will be magnificent drama.

Much of the new season of the show has been filmed in Belfast. The sixth series will also continue ahead of the book as writer George RR Martin is yet to complete the sixth instalment.

The fate of Jon Snow, one of the most popular characters on the show, has also been left to speculation. The last season ended with Jon Snow being stabbed repeatedly.

However, Kit Harrington who plays the role of Jon Snow has been seen in Belfast enjoying pints with Cunningham.

The sixth season of Game Of Thrones will be aired in April.
